Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga focuses on foundational yoga postures with an emphasis on bringing the body back into balance. When we understand the basic actions and proper alignment in our yoga practice, we can FEEL the difference in our everyday life activities. The class will end with 20 minutes of relaxation/meditation creating an opportunity to assimilate the practice on all levels and to reconnect with Self.
New to Yoga
New to Yoga is a class for those who are brand new to yoga or those who are just getting back to their practice and want to “Ease In”. We use the chair as a supportive prop for both the standing and balancing poses, & bolsters and blankets for floor postures. Classes end with a lovely relaxation coupled with a guided meditation.
Heart-Centered Yoga
Heart Centered Yoga includes a slow, mindful yoga practice including time for reflection followed by a calming and nurturing meditation. The restorative poses offered at the end of class support the body with yoga bolsters, blankets & blocks creating space and total relaxation. With a focus on Heart Centered breathing, this class offers a safe and supportive environment bringing your nervous, hormonal and immune systems back into balance.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is a practice that supports our physical body with yoga bolsters, blankets & blocks creating space and relaxation. As we take time to be still and do nothing, our bodies, minds and emotions have an opportunity to be observed in a deeper way.
